What do we need to stay alive?
Discuss in groups what we need to stay alive for one week. List the requirements. As we go higher, air gets thinner and air pressure falls. What would be the effect on a human body if it was not subject to air pressure?
Your task:
Design a spacesuit which would keep an astronaut alive and healthy for a week in the event of a depressurisation of their spacecraft. Remember, all bodily functions must take place inside the suit.
Put your design onto a large sheet of paper and display on the wall.
