Returning to Earth after a journey in Space is a very complicated manoeuvre. Things could go wrong, and if a spacecraft goes off course and does not land in the area designated, it is imperative that it be located quickly so that retrieval could be carried out a soon as possible. A mission would fail if the spacecraft and crew could not be found.
Your task:
List ways in which a crew could indicate their location to mission control.
Design some locating devices which could be carried on the spacecraft that would signal their position in some way. Remember, they must work day and night and if the spacecraft has not landed in a prepared area the astronauts could be injured.
