Launch poll is the final manual check that NASA and others carry out in preparation for a rocket launch. Each member of the launch team has to state that they are go for launch.
This process is now automated at SpaceX, but us keen space cadets love to hear a good old fashioned launch poll. Listen to this and try not to get just a little bit excited. This is the final culmination of the launch team’s efforts:
